Driving. Sweating. Researching. Where Academics Meets Driving And Physiology

As Evan nears the final stages of his high school graduation project, let's check in with his latest research.

Just finished my last race for my research project. I only lost 2 lbs. of sweat this time...but I'm still going to feel it in the morning. Thanks to FO and EB at Victory Lane Indoor Karting for letting me race at their facility and JL at PitFit Training for his advice and use of equipment! Good fun! Now I have to work on the not-so-fun part of the project.

Evan York has been driving and racing since the age of seven. He is currently a full-time high school student. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the National Technical Honor Society, cross-country running team (of which he is Captain), and track team. He is also president of the extracurricular club, Maverick Motorsports, who are 2010 national champions in FastTrackRC/Ten80Education sanctioned competition.
