WCTC Sign YORK Motorsport Drivers For 2011 Northwest Grand Prix
West Coast Touring Cars selects both Kevin and Evan York For Triple Race Weekend During 2011 Spokane Festival of Speed

"I'm very pleased that Rob Dunn of West Coast Touring Cars has invited both Evan and I to drive his team's racing cars once again. I'll be driving WCTC'S Dodge ACR that I've raced many times before. As for Evan, it will be his first weekend at the track in a WCTC car - indeed, it's his debut in road racing! For this event WCTC are bringing in John McDermott to be our car chief and strategist - that is a huge benefit as it could be a busy weekend! The racing in Conference is very competitive and I enjoy that. Also, Spokane County Raceway is one of my favorite road-racing courses in the Northwest!" noted Kevin.
Held at Spokane County Raceway, the race should prove to be as challenging as any. The track has been newly configured during the off-season and competitors are anxious to race on it.

The triple-race weekend - to be held July 15-17, 2011 - will be part of a championship series that stretches from April to October. The series is sanctioned by the International Conference of Sports Car Clubs (ICSCC). The ICSCC was founded in 1957 and is the largest sports car racing sanctioning body in the Pacific Northwest. It consists of five member and five affiliate clubs in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. www.icscc.com
Spokane County Motorsports Park features road course that is well over two miles in length. It consists of fast sections, some challenging medium-speed corners with elevation change, and some tight technical segments. The pavement is very smooth, and consistent, making it a great facility for motorsport. Among drivers, Spokane County Raceway is routinely ranked a favorite. www.spokanecountyraceway.com
West Coast Touring Cars (WCTC) is an informal grouping of sports car racers set on having fun and being champions all at the same time. Team principal, Rob Dunn, races regularly in ICSCC and SCCA competition and was 2005 SCCA Northwest Region ITA Champion. For information, see Twitter: @wctouringcars
