Kevin York Joins Staff At BMW Performance Driving School
Kevin to help drivers find the joy of driving
Kevin York, of YORK Motorsport, has agreed terms with the BMW Performance Driving School’s management team to provide driver training and consultancy services.
Located at the BMW Performance Center in Greer, NC, BMW Performance Driving School’s programs equip attendees with the skills necessary to enjoy the ultimate driving experience time and time again. Thanks to a fleet of the latest BMW models, a team of BMW Driver Training Instructors, and a challenging mix of low- and high-speed driving exercises, they'll help a driver become a confident, safe and enthusiastic.
“I am very pleased to be in a position to offer my assistance to the burgeoning programs that the BMW Performance Center have on offer.” noted Kevin. “In addition to my background as a driving instructor and coach, I also have previous professional experience with both BMW automobiles and motorcycles. Taken in that light, I am keen on being able to help grow their BMW Motorcycle Rider Training as well as offer guidance to the Center's Ultimate Delivery Experience.”

Kevin York of YORK Motorsport has raced professionally most recently in the Grand Am Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge and has been a motorsport competitor and coach for over two decades. As a driver, he has competed, and won, in various forms of motorsport. As a coach, he has worked with podium finishers, rookie-of-the-year winners, recreational high-performance drivers and many more seeking to have a repeatable, high level of driving performance. Licensed by or affiliated with many worldwide motorsport sanctioning bodies, Kevin is familiar with many aspects of the motorsport and performance-driving industry. BMW Performance Center
The BMW Performance Center, located in Greer, South Carolina, comprises the BMW Performance Driving School - a 134-acre, state-of-the-art driving facility equipped with closed courses, water walls, a skid pad and an off-road course; a multi-purpose conference center; customer delivery center; and a service, paint and body facility. The 64,000 square-foot complex opened in 1999 and offers multiple BMW Performance Driving School courses year-round from BMW-certified Driving Instructors for teenagers up to experienced driving enthusiasts.
